January 15th, 2024
Due to severe weather expected to impact North Texas, there may be shipping delays of your specimens to our laboratory in Richardson, Texas from Monday, January 15th, 2024 to Tuesday, January 16th, 2023. We are monitoring the weather and working to mitigate any delays with our logistics carriers. MCI Diagnostic Center will have staff on site to recieve deliverables.

FedEx/UPS Shipping Schedule for New Year
In observance of New Year’s Day, FedEx/UPS will be closed on Monday, January 1st, 2024. FedEx/ UPS shipping will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024. To avoid potential delivery delays that lead to stability concerns, MCI Diagnostic Center strongly encourages centers to ship specimens to the lab on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024. MCI will be available to receive deliverables Tuesday, January 2, 2024.

FEDEX Shipping Schedule for Christmas Day
MCI will be closed on Monday, December 25th, 2023, in observance of Christmas Day. MCI will be available to receive deliverables on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023, and will resume regular hours beginning Tuesday, December 26th, 2023. To avoid potential delivery delays, please note that FedEx will be closed on Monday, December 25th, 2023 and resume normal service on Tuesday, December 26th, 2023.

FEDEX Shipping Schedule for Thanksgiving Week
MCI will be closed on Thursday November 23, 2023, in observance of Thanksgiving Day. MCI will be available to receive deliverables on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, and will resume regular hours beginning Friday November 24, 2023. To avoid potential delivery delays, please note that FedEx will be closed on Thursday, November 23, 2023, with modified service Friday November 24, to Saturday, November 25, 2023, and resume normal service on Monday, November 27, 2023.

To avoid potential delivery delays that lead to stability concerns, MCI strongly encourages Job Corps Centers to ship specimens to the lab Tuesday, September 5th, 2023. MCI will be available to receive deliverables on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023.

MCI understands how critical it is to ensure specimen samples are received in the laboratory in a timely manner. With the ongoing development of UPS and the risk of UPS workers striking starting on July 31, 2023, MCI is taking a proactive approach to prevent any potential disruptions in our shipping services with our centers currently utilizing UPS for their shipping needs.While the situation is still developing, MCI would like to be prepared for our clients that utilize UPS. Currently, we have four (4) centers that utilize UPS shipping services. We will contact the centers and inform them as we get closer to the July 31st, 2023, deadline that we will be changing their services temporarily until further notice as a temporary solution to prevent any potential disruption.

Welcome Back Everyone
It gives MCI Diagnostic Center great pleasure to welcome everyone back for anther great year. We are all exceited to have all the centers start back. It is MCI’s mission to support and help every center with there testing needs. Starting the New Year of 2021, MCI Diagnotsic Center would like to inform you of a change in our business address.
