If a red-top tube or plasma is used, separate serum or plasma to a plastic transport tube.

Storage Instructions:

Room temperature. Stable at room temperature, or refrigerated for three days and frozen for 12 months.

Rejection Criteria:

Citrate plasma specimen; grossly hemolyzed samples; improper labeling.
