Cancer prognosis. In general, aneuploid tumors have an unfavorable prognosis compared to diploid tumors.

Test Information:

The DNA index is a measure of the nuclear DNA content of tumor cells compared to normal cells. Tumors with abnormal DNA content are termed DNA aneuploid while those with DNA content equal to normal cells are termed DNA diploid.

Collection:
